“All roads lead to Burgundy…”
Why Burgundy?
Discover the region
This wine region has been producing wines of renown for over 2,000 years, with the first vineyards being planted during Roman times. It is home to the holy grail of grapes Pinot Noir & Chardonnay, though there is much more to be discovered beyond those.
At it’s heart is the sense of place Burgundian wines give you. Each sub-region, each village and each individual vineyard giving a true expression of terroir. Vines can be grown almost anywhere on Earth now, but no stretch of land, nor family of growers, are capable of concoting such beautiful, inexpressible wines as those which call “Bourgogne” home.
There’s a saying amongst wine enthusiasts that all roads lead to Burgundy. We say, why not start there…
